Local artisans from Agra were running out of work because of the intricate, adorning art not being in trend and demand. To overcome this issue, The Handicraft Street has modernized and uplifted the Prachinkari art in a contemporary way and still makes use of the craftsman’s skills.

At The Handicraft Street, every artisan makes money in two ways - one is their salary, and the other is we share our profits. We contribute 2.5% of the profits to support our artisan's children. We believe that as our business grows, the social impact should grow. Therefore, whenever you source handicrafts from THS, you support quality education of artisan’s children like Karan and many others, so the next generation has better opportunities.
